Diana is a Project Lead with 7+ years of experience in managing projects and communities in startups and entrepreneurship, online education, and social impact. Diana’s passion is helping people realize their full potential. Within her Fellowship, Diana is working on the project “Volunteer4Ukraine” — connecting Ukrainian social initiatives in need of help and international expertise, and foreign volunteers eager to help Ukraine.
Diana is a co-founder and director of “Support Ukraine Now” (SUN) — an NGO engaging a network of worldwide leaders in supporting Ukraine. SUN’s guide for foreigners on how to help Ukraine has reached 2M+ people, and helped fundraise €1M+ for Ukrainian initiatives. Diana is also a co-founder and lead of MetaSpilnota — first Ukrainian community for professional community management, helping the industry grow in Ukraine.
Diana has worked with IT business development, startups, community building, online education, and law. She has created 20+ online courses and a podcast. She has also worked with 15+ communities. She was a part of the healthcare reform and education reform in Ukraine, and worked as a legislative consultant at the US Congress.
Diana holds the LLB in Criminal Law, and LLM in EU Public Law and Human Rights. Diana has Ukrainian and Syrian roots. Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, she is currently located in Beirut, Lebanon, for her Arabic language studies.
“My role in most projects is sending an impulse: connecting the right people; helping people find the right resources to achieve their goals; inspiring them to see bigger opportunities; managing them to be able to achieve those goals. One of the ways to do this can be done through connecting Ukrainian social initiatives who can benefit from some foreign expertise, and international volunteers eager to help Ukraine. This is the project I will be working on within the EaP Civil Society Fellowship. There’s huge potential in this — from actual work tasks being done, to intercultural connections and friendships built.”- Diana Daiub
