Doina VÎRLAN, Moldova
PROJECT: Empowering Youth Through Digital Tools

Doina studied Computer Science at Technical University of Moldova where she honed her technical skills and developed a strong foundation in IT. During her academic journey, she also had the enriching opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ project, studying in Germany. This experience exposed her to diverse cultures and perspectives, fostering appreciation for global collaboration and understanding. Currently, as the CEO of an innovative IT company, she lead a talented team of professionals, driving cutting-edge solutions and embracing technological advancements to address real-world challenges.

Her passion for technology goes far beyond the confines of the corporate world; it is a driving force that compels to leverage the boundless potential of digital tools to bring about positive change in communities. This unwavering commitment to using technology for social good is what motivated her to apply for the EaP Civil Society Fellowship Programme.

For me, the Fellowship programme presents a unique opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. Engaging with diverse communities and working on a project of such social significance will challenge me to develop new skills, adapt to different contexts, and become a more empathetic and effective leader. The true essence of the project lies in empowering youth to be active participants in the digital landscape, equipped not just with knowledge but with the courage to innovate fearlessly.” – Doina Virlan
