Iryna LYTVYNCHUK, Ukraine
PROJECT: #StandWithUkraine. Stop Disinformation

Iryna has a PhD and is currently serving as a Professor of Economics.  She has gathered a wealth of professional experience in her capacity as an Expert on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions at Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, expert at the National Agency for Qualifications of Ukraine, expert at the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and Head of the Centre for Intellectual Property, Innovations and Project Management at Polissia National University. She is also a member of the Council for Investment Attraction at the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration and the head of the NGO “Endshpiel”. Iryna acquired her project management experience by leading the projects supported by GIZ (2019) and EUACI (2020-2021).

Given her interest in education and the opportunities of the digital age, when Russia invaded Ukraine and bombarded the country with misinformation, Iryna quickly designed a project to assist in building the capacities of students to mitigate misinformation.  This project became a fellowship and has resulted in more than 100 students across a network of universities participating in a 10-module online course coordinated by Iryna.

‘I am extremely interested in the advocacy and public lobbying of educational and scientific Ukrainian brand building and hope to get in touch with other agents of changes for making reforms in UA society.’- Iryna LYTVYNCHUK
