Olena YATSKIVSKA, Ukraine
PROJECT: Victory Gardens of Radomyshl hromada

Olena is a young professional from Ukraine, skilled in research, strategic planning, and project management. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management of Enterprises from Polissia National University in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.

Olena has considerable experience in writing articles and scientific reports and implementing grant programs; she is a co-author of publications on investment and tourism topics and developed the first interactive map of the investment and tourist attractiveness of the Radomyshl community.

Olena actively promotes the Radomyshl community at the international level. Being the official representative of the network “Via Regia – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” in the city of Radomysl, in 2021, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Olena managed to implement a project to spread European cultural initiatives in the Radomyshl community.

The war in Ukraine significantly changed everyday life and forced adaptation to new realities. Today, together with the team of the Charity Fund “Radomyshl is our home”, Olena works on issues of humanitarian aid, socialization of internally displaced persons in the Radomyshl community, establishment of international relations, and restoration of the community’s economy.

“The war has proved once again how important a strong civil society is for a country in its darkest times. Therefore, even today, we also keep the line and support each other, the entire active community of Ukrainian men and women. My project “Victory Gardens of Radomyshl hromada” is implemented for the first time by the Radomysl community with the support of the European Union. That’s why the project relates to addressing the emergency needs of the local population and helps our community to respond to the needs of IDPs and refugees.” OLENA YATSKIVSKA
