Skilled in Software Engineering, building Tech Solutions and teaching programming to young people, Vitalii received his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Kyiv Polytechnic University and is currently studying for a Ph.D.

For the last 6 years Vitalii has been working as a Software Engineer entrepreneur, providing services to Swedish companies building software across multiple domains, like Employer Market research or optimization of food delivery using programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python, and Typescript.

In parallel to his software engineering, Vitalii is also engaged in improving governance in Ukraine by implementing new technologies in the process of communication between local government and society. He has considerable experience in building Telegram bots, and will use this experience in his fellowship project to build a bots platform that can help society and government to better interact with each other.

“By implementing this project I want to involve and inspire young students from Ukraine to get their first experience in software engineering, so they will have bigger chance to find commercial projects in the future and understand more about civic digital possibilities.” – Vitalii PAVLIUK
